Dutch bark ship Friesland for sale according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Rotterdamsche courant dated 5 May 1869

An item reported that the Dutch bark ship Friesland was not sold on the public auction on Tuesday 4 May in the hall on the corner Scheepsmakershaven-Bierstraat for the offered ƒ 21.000. Her last captain was T. Sipkes. Described in another Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 3rd May as very fast and coppered, lying at the shipyard of Gebr. Visser, Zalmhaven, Rotterdam, measuring 716 tons/378 last and as dimensions 40 x 7,5 x 5,71 (hold) metres.
