Naval telegraphy station at Cherbourg,France according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch Nieuwsblad dated 22 April 1909

This newspaper reported that at Cherbourg a station for wireless telegraphy was founded making a continuous connection by telegraph possible between the North Sea and the Mediterranean squadrons.
