The magazine Militar Wochenblatt reported that a new American naval shipbuilding program for the next 15 years was approved with a budget of 1.000.000.000 dollars. For 1932 was a 10,000 tons cruiser, 2 aircraft carriers, 6 submarines, 2 mother plane ships, a so-called flying deck cruiser, 6 submarines and the accomplishment of the Ranger. Needed budget for this was 129.385.000 dollar. The naval budget for 1932-1933 decreased from 401.000.000 tot 360.000.000 dollar to reduce the costs and in 1932 were just 5 instead of all ready approved 11 torpedo boats build.
