Laid down by  Kon. Mij. De Schelde, Vlissingen, Netherlands for account of the Department of Colonies on 30 December 1915, launched on 2 July 2910, commissioned on 27 April 1921 and decommissioned on 1936.  Arrived on 23 December 1921 t Tandjong Priok, Dutch East Indies.
