New tankers for Dutch shipping company Ph. Van Ommeren’s Scheepvaartbedrijf according to the Dutch newspaper Het Vaderland evening edition dated 16 August 1929

The Dutch shipping company Ph. Van Ommeren’s Scheepvaartbedrijf of Rotterdam ordered the yard of the Rotterdamsche Droogdok Maatschappij to build 2 tankers of 10,000 loading capacity. The engines were to be delivered by Harland and Wolf of Belfast.
