Tanker Lara of the Nederlandsche Indische tankstoomboot Maatschappij sold to the Anglo-Saxon Petroleum Company Ltd according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad morning edition dated 10 February 1926

The Dutch steamship Lara of 916 gross tons, build in 1915 of the Nederlandsche Indische tankstoomboot Maatschappij was sold to the Anglo-Saxon Petroleum Company Ltd. at London and renamed Shell Mex I. The newspaper Nieuwe Rotterdamsche Courant evening edition dated 9 February confirmed this sell adding that she was build in 1915 at the yard of the Gebr. Pot, Bolnes with a measurement of 916 tons gross and 399 tons net.
