Japanese-British shipping company founded according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag voor Nederlandsch-Indië dated 29 September 1905

An item dated London 28 September 1905 referred to the newspaper Standard which reported that British and Japanese shipowners founded a company with a capital of 60.000.000 Dutch guilders. The offices were situated in London and Liverpool, the latter office partly with Japanese personnel. The company intended to take forty of the transports earlier bought by Japan and further more some large freighters.
