American Federal Maritime Commission selling merchant ships according to the Dutch newspaper Arnhemsche Courant dated 17 December 1940

An item reported that the American Federal Maritime Commission announced that she was prepared to sell another 24 laid up ships to another country. These ships included 18 cargo and passenger ships and five ships with cooling devices.
