An item reported that last Thursday evening a guard discovered smoke coming from behind a door of a powder chamber of board of the French naval transport Vinh Long eighteen days earlier returned from Morocco and now anchored off the arsenal at Toulon. While in the meantime was telephoned for assistance started the crew with putting out the fire which succeeded after 1,5 hour.(1)
