Portuguese navy forbade selling trawlers abroad according to the Dutch newspaper Limburger Koerier dated 25 January 1940

An item dated Lisbon 24 January reported that the Portuguese national syndicate for the merchant navy protested against the selling of Portuguese trawlers abroad. The result was that the department of navy forbade that Portuguese merchant ships were sold to a foreign country.
