Arrival of the Russian Black Sea Fleet at Odessa according to the Dutch newspaper De Tijd dated 6 November 1852

The Russian Black Sea Fleet commanded by rear admiral Nakkimons arrived on 17 October at Odessa. It consisted of 8-84 gun ships of the line, 2-120 gun ships of the line, 1-52 gun frigate, 1-60 gun frigate, 1-18 gun corvette and 1-20 gun corvette. The fleet was ordered to transport the troops at Wosnesensko to the Crimean winter quarters. The daily edition of the newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 6 November confirmed this item.
