British submarine torpedoed Turkish transport Carmen according to the Dutch newspaper De Zeeuw dated 27 October 1915

An item dated Athens 27 October reported that a British submarine torpedoed in the Sea of Marmora the Turkish transport Carmen loaded with war stores. The Soldaten Courant dated the 29th confirmed this tiding reporting that she was loaded with ammunition.
