Italian transport Re Umberto lost due to Austrian floating mine according to the Dutch newspaper Soldaten Courant dated 22 December 1915

An item referred to the German newspaper Loka-Anz and the Secolo of Genoa that the Italian transport Re Umberto sunk in the Adriatic Sea with 800 men troops on board after striking an Austrian floating mine. Except for two officers and forty soldiers was everybody saved.
