British transport Leasowe Castle torpedoed according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 30 May 1918

According to tidings received from the British Admiralty was the transport Leasowe Castle on 26 May torpedoed and sunk in the Mediterranean by a submarine. Of the crew were nine men missing including the captain and two radio telegraphers and furthermore 13 officers and 79 soldiers.
