Large British troop transport launched at Barlow according to the Dutch newspaper De Zeeuw dated Tuesday 20 September 1904

An item described that two days earlier at the yard of Vickers Sons and Maxim at Barrow for account of the British-Indian government the largest troop transport of the world was launched able to transport 1,500 men and officers.
