German ships’ owners compensated for their ships according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 3 March 1920

An item reported that the German minister responsible for the reconstruction completed the expropriation of the ships larger as 1.600 gross register tons and which were to be handed over conform the peace treaty (1). The former owners were obliged to hand over all ships’ papers and the rights of third parties were expired. Measures for compensation were to be taken.
