Laid down at the shipyard of Vickers Armstrong at Barrow in August 1927 while built under the 1926-1927 Estimates, launched on 27 November 1928, completed in October 1920 and finally broken up in February 1954 at Ward, Inverkeiting. With a displacement of 12.300-13.500 tons were her dimensions 500 (between perpendiculars) x 83 x 20½ feet. The armament consisted of 4-4” anti aircraft guns. The two sets Pearsons reduction geared turbines and 4 3drum Yarrow boilers with a pressure of 335 lbs supplied 7.500 hp allowed a speed of 15 knots. Further more she was fitted out with auxiliary diesel engines. Oil bunker capacity for 1.100 tons with another 350 tons to supply other ships.
