An item reported that the Royal Italian torpedo plant at San Bartolomeo intended to engage an extra 145 workmen for the period 1911/1912-1914/1915 to be able in manufacturing a reserve of 1.000 torpedoes for the navy. The annual production would in this manner to be increased from 100 tot 250 torpedoes.
