Dutch East Indies lacking tonnage for export sugar according to the Dutch newspaper Arnhemsche courant dated 27 August 1941

An item dated Batavia the 26th reported that merchant houses at Batavia feared for the export due to increasing lacking of tonnage. An example were the stocks of sugar on Java in begin Augustus already more as 930.000 tons.
