Pembroke dockyard ordered to start new building of warships according to the Dutch newspaper De Nederlander dated 13 April 1853

An item dated Pembroke 7 April reported that the navy shipyard there received orders to start in the summer with the building of 2-90 gun ships of the line, one 50-gun frigate and three smaller warships, all at least fitted out with auxiliary steam power and driven by screws.
