Turkish admiral complained about worse condition of Turkish fleet according to the Dutch newspaper De locomotief dated 24 September 1901

An item reported that the Turkish commander in chief of the Turkish navy admiral Faik Pasha fled fearing the consequences for his complaining about the worse condition of the fleet. Al his possessions were seized by the cabinet.
