American cabinet overwhelmed with anti submarine warfare inventions according to the Dutch newspaper Bataviaasch nieuwsblad dated 15 January 1918

An item reported that the American cabinet since the USA entered the [First World] war received 40.000 inventions all dealing with anti submarine warfare of which were certainly of value.
