Paris, France, 19 December. At Brest were very successful experiments with so called bomb-guns which shoot with a less arched elevation as mortars. Probably they were based on the flight of a rocket. It was expected that this invention was valuable for sea warfare especially for smaller vessels while attacking of defending against larger ships.
