American whaler Minerva in November 1865 lying at Honolulu, Hawaii according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated Tuesday 16 January 1866

An item referred to the letter written by captain Penniman on 14 November 1865 on board of the bark Minerva of New Bedford lying at Honolulu returned from the Arctic. Her catch was 850 barrels whale oil and 16.260 lbs. bone the latter transferred to the bark Arctic bound for Boston. The oil was to be stored ashore waiting for shipment with a ship coming from San Francisco. Freight preces were 10 cents a gallon. She was to begin a new voyage intertwining to return at Honolulu in April 1864.
