An announcement reported
the intended auction by notary J.L. Kikkert on Tuesday the 24th 11.00 o’clock
in the harbour of Texel of 25 bales tobacco and one bale cotton and some loose
cotton all wet and damaged by seawater and further more the large boot all
belonging to the French frigate ship Aliné captain Jozeph Savarij stranded on
the Eijerlandsche buitengronden. She was underway from Bahia,
Brazil towards Hamburg Germany.
