American whaler Herald sold but still active in whaling according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated Tuesday 18 December 1866

An item reported that the ship Herald of New Bedford was sold to Zenas L. Adams of New Bedford. She was still to be used as a whaler with as captain to be Seth Nickerson of Barnstable, former master of the Massachusetts of Nantucket.
