British brig Prince Albert for sale at Den Helder, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Heldersche en Nieuwedieper Courant dated 28 January 1864

An announcement reported the auction on Monday 8 February at 19.00 o’clock in the local Tivoli, Den Helder of the wreck of the British brig ship Prince Albert with what was left of her inventory and her cargo coal on board and further more the salvaged inventory and the equipment used for the salvage. There was totally 2.270 mud coal salvaged. The wreck was lying in the Koopvaarders-Binnenhaven near the filled up Koopvaarders Schutsluis [sluice-gate] in Den Helder.
