Dutch brig Zr.Ms. Wesp visited Antwerp, Belgium according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsche courant dated 8 June 1866

An item dated Antwerp, Belgium the 6^th reported that in the afternoon of the 5^th the Dutch brig Zr.Ms. Wesp lieutenant 1^st class Meijer anchored off the town.(1) She was described as a very beautiful built ships, used a training vessel and fishery protection vessel. It usually served in the of the Schelde estuary at Vlissingen, Netherlands. Her crew numbered 67 men excluded the officers but included 50 trainees.
