British bark Mount Vernon underway from Singapore towards England according to the Dutch newspaper Java-bode dated 15 January 1870

An item dated r14th reported the passing of the Sunda Strait by the British ship Mount Vernon captain J. Bloater leaving Singapore on the 8th bound for Liverpool, England.(1)
