Dutch tug Witte Zee departed Nieuwediep, Netherlands towards open sea to pick up expected grain ships according to the Dutch newspaper Leeuwarder courant dated 21 June 1918

An item reported that the Dutch tug Witte Zee departed from Nieuwediep, Netherlands towards the Doggersbank and escort from there the homeward bound grain ships.
