Brazilian frigate (ex-Surat Castle 1795-1825) Dona Paula or Paula 1825-1827

Built as the Surat Castle in England for the British East Indies Company in 1795, purchased and renamed Dona Paula in 1825. Sunk at Cabo Frio on 2 October 1827. The armament consisted of 36 guns.
