Canada-flagged, homeport Nanticoke, IMO 5128467, MMSI 316004940 and call sign CFG8050. Ex Hill Annex renamed in July 1943 George A. Sloan when purchased by Pittsburgh Steamship Company, since 1966 of Bradley Transportation Company and rebuilt as a self discharging bulk carrier. Of the lower Lakes Towing Ltd. Port Dover, Canada. Built by Great Lakes Engineering Works, Detroit, Michigan, USA in 1943 using the straight-deck bulk carrier L6-S-B1 design of the US Maritime Commission.
