An item dated San Francisco, USA 22nd reported that the American clipper Stag Hound captain Peterson arrived that afternoon after a voyage of 108 days coming from Boston, USA with a cargo for R.B. Swain&Co.(1)

Dimensions 207 (keel)-215 (between perpendiculars)-226 (over all0 x 39.8 x 21 (depth of hold) feet, a tonnage of 1.534 tons and an old measurement of around 1.100 tons.
