An item dated San Francisco, USA 26th reported the arrival of the American clipper Westward Ho captain Hussey that evening after a voyage of 101 days coming from New York, USA with a cargo for Wm.T. Coleman&Co.(1)

1. Launched at the shipyard of Donald McKay, East Boston, Massachusetts, USA for account of Sampson&Tappan, Boston on 24 September 1852 and lost by fire lying at Callao, Peru on 13 October 1857. She was then Peru-flagged. Dimensions 210 x 40.6 x 23.6 feet and an old measurement of 1.650 tons.
