French privateer le Grand Desiré captured British ship Ruby according to the Dutch newspaper Oprechte Haarlemse courant dated 20 April 1805

An item reported that the French privateer le Grand Desiré of 20 guns took the captured British ship Ruby to Guadeloupe. The Ruby had been underway from Dublin, Ireland towards Jamaica.
