German navy building large numbers of torpedo boats according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1906-1907 No.4

An item reported that the new German torpedo boats had a displacement of 570 ton and a speed of 32-33 miles. The vital parts were to be protected against small calibre quick firing guns. Each year were 2 series of 6 boats to be laid down until there were 6 divisions each numbering 24 boats. Building costs for one torpedo boat was 1.800 mark.
