The British submarine fleet according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1928 no. 3


An item referred to the magazine Marine Rundschau dated March 1928 reporting that the Royal British navy possessed 57 completed submarines of which 38 measured more as 800 ton and the major part with a surfaced speed of 17,5 miles. The newest boats were the L26, X I and Oberon (1) and the two Australian submarines Otway and Oxely. The 12 submarines now being built belonged to the O and P classes with a displacement of 1.300-1.400 tons.
