The navies in the British Empire according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1926 no. 3
An item referred to the magazine Marine Rundschau dated April 1926 reported that except for the Royal British Navy six other countries in the British Empire maintained navies, namely the Royal Indian Navy, the Royal Australian Navy with 4 cruisers, a flotilla leader and 11 destroyers, New Zealand with 2 cruisers and 1 depot ship, Royal Canadian Navy with 2 destroyers, 2 submarines and 4 minesweepers, Newfoundland with 1 gunboat and 16 guard vessels and the South African navy with 1 survey vessel, 2 minesweeper and 1 training vessel.
