Austrian naval budget approved according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1906-1907 no. 6


An item referred to the magazine Marine Rundschau reported that the Austrian naval budget for 1906 was 30,9 million crones which was 1,9 million more as for 1905. Further more were 26,3 million asked of the 120,9 million in 1904 approved to be used for an accelerated building of the 3 battleships of the Erzherzog Karl-class (1), renewing torpedo material and the necessary enlargement of the war harbours, leaving 19,5 million of this budget.

1. This class off pre-dreadnought battleships consisting of the Erzherzog Karl, Erzherzog Ferdinand Max and Erzherzog Friedrich preceded b the Habsburg-class and succeeded by the Radetzky-class was built between 1907-1907.
