An item reported that arrival of the American screw steamship USS Enterprise captain lieutenant M. Calla on 2 October at Ijmuiden, Netherlands and her departure the next day towards Amsterdam, Netherlands. She was launched in 1874, a displacement of 1.375 tons, 800 hp horsepower and an armament consisting of 1-8” gun, 4-9” guns and 1-60pd gun. On the 10th she departed via the Noordzee kanaal.(1)
