German naval budget for 1914 according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1913-1914 no. 5

An item reported that the German naval budget was almost identical to the budget a year earlier namely 467 million mark. For new building and armament was 228 million mark available for building 2 battleships in stead of one, 1 battle cruiser, 1 gunboat, 2 small cruisers, an Imperial,  1 flotilla of 11 torpedo boats while for the building of 6 submarines 20 million mark was available. The budget was based op executing the shipbuilding program of 1912
