Russian Admiralty purchasing new type Whitehead torpedoes according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1913-1914 no. 5

An item reported that the Russian Admiralty decided to purchase a new type of Whitehead torpedoes in many ways resembling the French model 1909 R. This torpedo had a diameter of 45cm, a length of 5,5 metres and an explosive charge with a weight of 125 kilo.
