An item reported that the new battleship to be built according to the plans of minister Bettólo would have a displacement of 8.000 tons. In the basis of Froude was a model tested which predicted a larger speed hen 22 knots. The armament was to consist of 20cm and 7,6 cm guns while 15cm guns were not be used.(1)
