American destroyer USS Paul Hamilton (1919) in 1923


Launched at Navy Yard Mare Island, USA in 1919, completed in 1919, displacement 1.165 tons, 26.000 hp horsepower, all geared turbine oil fuelled machinery and an armament of 4-4” guns, 2-14pd anti aircraft guns and 4x3-21” torpedo tubes.(1)

1. Of the Chemson-class, preceded by the Wickes-class, succeeded by the Farragut-class. Laid down by Bethlehem Shipbuilding Corporation, Union Iron Works, San Francisco, USA on 25 September 1918, launched on 21 February 1919, commissioned on 24 September 1920, decommissioned on 20 January 1930, stricken on 8 July 1930 and sold to be broken up in 1931.
