Veinticinco de Mayo-class
An item reported that Argentine ordered the building by the British company Vickers-Armstrong a third cruiser.(1) Building costs around 1 million pond sterling. At that moment numbered the Argentinean navy already 2 modern cruisers of 6.800 tons(2), with a main armament of 6-19cm guns and a speed of 32-33,5 miles. The magazine believed that Argentine wanted to keep her advance on Brazil while Brazil also started with a new building programme.
