An item reported that Italy decided to built another 10 submarines which could be very fast be built and already be launched in the fall. Except for some older submarines possessed the Italian navy over 48 modern submarines in service and 8 under construction of which 6 of the 1930-1931 programme and 2 of the 1934-1935 programme.
