An item referred to the magazine Schiffbau dated 15 December 1938 reporting that the famous tea clipper Cutty Sark (1) was berthed behind the Worcester (2) at Greenhithe and to be used as training ship for midshipmen.

2. The Incorporated Thames Nautical Training College HMS Worcester on board of the Worcester, which was the former screw steam ship of the line Frederick William (in 1833 even laid down as the sailing ship of the line HMS Royal Sovereign), foundered in 1948 and after salvage in 1953 broken up.
