More budget for building auxiliary ships for Japanese navy according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1935 no. 4

An item referred to the magazine Schiffbau dated 1 June 1935reported that the Japanese navy budget over 1935-1936 of 936 million Dutch guilders (12 million more as the highest budget ever (1921-1922) included around 66 million for building auxiliary ships/ Begin 1935 executed 2-13.750 ton tankers their trials. Their speed more as 19 knots and it was assumed that both tankers were to be used as fast transport ships for the fleet in wartime. Since 1929 built Japan 34 ships able to be used as auxiliary cruisers. Of these 34 ships had 21 a speed of at least 18 knots.
