Crew of British gunboat HMS Tern mutinying according to the Dutch newspaper Marineblad dated 1936 no. 2

An item referred to the Jap. Chr. dated 19 December 1935 reporting that the crew of the British gunboat Tern lying at Wei-hai-Wwei, China refused service being unsatisfied with the quality of their food.(1)

1. River gunboat T 64, building ordered on 14 January 1926, launched by Yarrow Shipbuilding Ltd., Scotstoun, Scotland with yard number 1528 on 29 August 1927, disassembled and transported to Hong Kong where was reassembled, commissioned in November 1927 and scuttled in the Deep Water Bay, Hong Kong to prevent her capture by the Japanese forces on 19 December 1941.
