Feodosiya Torpedo Plant Dalyni Kamyshi building small naval craft according to a CIA report dated 5 October 1956

An item reported that an investigation made clear that there was no stockpile of torpedoes stored at the Feodosiya Torpedo Plant Dalyni Kamyshi. It was believed that this plant belonged to the biggest torpedo producers in the Soviet Union. What became clear was that the plant was used for building small naval patrol craft. After the Second World Was a boat basin with the dimensions of 340 x 400 feet constructed near the main plant building which latter facility had as dimensions 430x300 feet. There were 19 craft with a length of 60 feet in various stages of completion under construction. Another similar craft and what seemed to be 3 torpedo boats with a length of 85 feet were floating in the mentioned basin.
